this is really fun but maybe rethink combat as it's a bit clunky and stage 6's boss is an ass and you're forced to just throw your sword at it

This is really fun but the Ai makes the combat seem less than it is as sometimes the enemies can hit you twice in one swing, as with the stage 6 boss. This makes it hard to do close up combat with the boss and forces you to do ranged combat to avoid dying in a single hit. You can also strafe around the enemies and they'll miss 90% of their swings. (stage 6 boss swings it's sword around itself a lot more) Also throwing the sword. I wish the hitbox of the sword Was slightly larger around the blade as it misses the target even though it looks like it should've collided
This was a lot of fun! My weak ass got motion sick after a few levels lol. I'm trash at parkour platformers not sure why I decided to play this game but I'm glad I did.

SPEEDRUNNING TIPS FROM ME: 1: throwing from what i know does a twice as much damage then normal slashing so if an enemy is far away you can throw and use tip 3 to push the enemy on the ground and repeat attack it
2:on level 2 theres a way to cheese the start jumps by going ,1 run onto the corner of the first block, 2 jumping so you dont have as much height and you land on the next platform at the back, 3 spam jump until you reach the sword
3: the lower you throw a sword at an enemy the less it will move away so you can throw the sword at an enemy where it bounces right back into you

4: thowing a sword at an enemys head will usually make it fall with the sword going up instead of backward
Only things that could be improved are the power-up pickup margin and the time keeping, because it doesn't keep your best time but just the latest time. Minor things that are more than excusable for a game jam.
If you are windows, you will want to install one of the top two downloads. Most computers these days are 64 bit, so I suggest getting the top download - RE:RUN (Windows 64bit)
Can anyone please tell me what code to write to install it on linux? I already downloaded it, pasted it in linux files but now i need the code. I have been playing karlson lately but this looks even funner. Thanks kind one!
This is so much fun to play and I know it can be compared to other games but it has its own spark which makes it so much different. I liked it so much I made a video on it. I hope that's ok. Good Luck on future projects!

This is so good. Dani is the best, always make cool parkour game. I want to play Karlson so much!!!

if u cant open the exe file you are prob on windows 10 so...
right click & go to "properties" and at the bottom it should say "unblock"
click unblock then apply then ok, then try and it should open :))
