hello everybody. i have a question. i have the game downloaded as a file but idk what cables to use to plug in my quest to my pc. i own an old hp computer. idk when its from but the brand is hp. if anyone could help me i would appreciate that a lot
The cable you need then, is like the one that goes into your quest, but with something that goes into your computer too. Search "USB-A to USB-C cable".
You can't side load it. You need to install the Oculus app on your pc, and then use Oculus Link (by plugging in a compatible cable) to play it, providing your pc can run it.
For this game, yes, but if you want to play any other games, you might want to go a bit higher end. You can cobble together a really decent vr pc with a 1070/1060 for about $500. I don't reccommend the rx470, just to play one game.

It works. Press the red "Download" button, and it will appear in your downloads folder.

Turn off your antivirus then, that may be the problem.

I think he meant .apk Its a file for android games. Since the Oculus QUest runs on Android

there is no apk. sidequest and quest require apks. it's pc only.

Old HP Computer? It probably can't even run the game dude. Plus, you need the Oculus Link cable to plug your Quest into your PC, if it'll even work.

When I try to run the game, I get an error that my machine doesn't have a WMR headset plugged in. I'M USING STEAMVR
use alvr, it can change what headset you pc picks up
You might need to use Revive to get it running, because it might just be built for Oculus.
