First impressions: The UI design is bad (very "default unity" kind of feel, menus, and font choices). The tutorial(s) seem to just stop and not really guide you through your first night as I got raided by more powerful enemies than me my first time playing on the first night. The day seemed very short for how much time I had to prepare. The game play itself hard yet fun. It still feels early access though. I think it's got good bones and I'll keep checking it out as they push out updates and improvements.
Dev: If you need any UI/UX help let me know. I designed the UI/UX for Songs of Syx and a couple other games. Your game is a lot lighter in terms of how much information you need to convey to the player so it would be a breeze for me to draw up something for you.
Hey this might be a stupid question but do you just have to have steam open or is there something else that I ned to do to make it work that im not realising. im on a Mac also
every time I see a comment like this, I want to smash my keyboard into my face. you need to have steam running in the background for this, so even if there was a windows port here, it would not make a difference, so make a god damn steam account.
It’s kinda strange that you created an account and two minutes later commented on this specifically. Did you actually make an itch account specifically to comment this?
I can't I explained that my parents hate making accounts and I'm a 9 year old I tried to see if I could make an account but it says to do a thing you need to have permission from your parents or need to be at least 13
So if you need to have steam running then I can't play.
I can infer that you have made an itch.io account just to comment and play this game. Your itch.io account is named "iwantmuck" meaning that you made an itch.io account just for this
Well If u wanna do port forwarding aka accidentally messing up the router settings and giving everyone else in the LAN a Pain (Most of the time u don't even have access to it lmao), well u could reverse engineer the entire code and rewrite everything. But then when Dani would come with another update, nothing will work and the code will be full of conflicts...
I haven't tried this myself cuz I just tried, it didn't work and I gave up but someone replied to another comment saying you need to add the steam version of muck to your library first and then it'll work? idk makes no sense to me. if that doesn't work then maybe try adding this version of muck to steam as a nonsteam game?
Singleplayer mode (without Steam connection), saves, Vulkan implemention on GNU/Linux, cheat codes, Windows version also on itch.io/Linux & Mac also on Steam.
Unfortunately game currently doesn't work after declining internet access (because there's no offline singleplayer option).
imma commit toaster bathtub if one more person asks this but it uses steam networking so even if he did add the windows version to this it wouldn't work because the game uses steam networking

go to terminal type "chmod 755" and drag the muck file in after that
Or use a file manager->properties->permissions
i made a script that unblocks unity apps on macs

Yeah, Dani is not going to want help imo
Its supposed to be bad
Not really, an example of one of his games supposed to be bad is "milkman karlson"
I mean the point of the game I don't think was to be a "game"
At first it was, but now it is looked as a great smp game
Hey does anyone have a solution for this error poping up? "Cannot read property 'build' of undefined," anything that can help will be helpful.
Happening to me too. Hopefully he fixes it soon
Me too
Hey this might be a stupid question but do you just have to have steam open or is there something else that I ned to do to make it work that im not realising. im on a Mac also
Yes you need steam opened to make it work
have the normal game (steam version) in your library and that should fix it
does it have to be the app or can I use the web version of steam?
app version
oh
when i open it on my pc it crashes and closes to deskto

I have a windows computer and I don't have a steam account. My parents hate making accounts for me so can you release a windows version on itch.io?

lol, you gave them seriously your real age? Give them a fake age and say you have the permission of your parents. Its as easy as that
I actually also want a windows version on itch because for some reason steam wont download
I can infer that you have made an itch.io account just to comment and play this game. Your itch.io account is named "iwantmuck" meaning that you made an itch.io account just for this
exactly what i want, mate
mee too
Download the itch.io app it works for me (mac
Do you have Mac Big Sur bc for me it says you do not have permission to open the aplication
And if you do how did u get it working?
Its literally programmed for steam, and the windows version is on steam for free
Well If u wanna do port forwarding aka accidentally messing up the router settings and giving everyone else in the LAN a Pain (Most of the time u don't even have access to it lmao), well u could reverse engineer the entire code and rewrite everything. Good luck.
my steam's running in the background and it's not opening

mac players never get any love, and check steam
i dont have steam
Then do it
im a kid, i cant =(
I turned 13 this year, and have a steam account since like 2 years
Dude, i was literally 9 when I made my steam account to just play TF2! Yeah that's right, Team Fortress 2. i am not even joking the slightest.
Amateurs. Linux players are the most ignore
Umm, Excuse me. What about Linux huh?? haha
*Linus Torvalds mvoing his walking desk up and down to hide the pain* lol

Thank you so much for making a linux version
Things I'd like to see:
Singleplayer mode (without Steam connection), saves, Vulkan implemention on GNU/Linux, cheat codes, Windows version also on itch.io/Linux & Mac also on Steam.
Unfortunately game currently doesn't work after declining internet access (because there's no offline singleplayer option).
guy
can you do pc and also 32 bit :/
wdym pc? its only on pc... lol if ur talkin bout windows its on steam
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1625450/Muck/
i need windows 32 bit
Why is 32bit?
coz my pc is 32 bit
but why does 32 bit exist?
Then use a 64-bit virtual machine on a 32-bit host system.
gimme an example
That would be way too laggy
M U C K
Can you please add the windows version here because maybe there are people like me who cant put steam on their pc. (or you cant do that
imma commit toaster bathtub if one more person asks this but it uses steam networking so even if he did add the windows version to this it wouldn't work because the game uses steam networking

make MUCK available on windows ON itch.io (or you cant do that)
it uses steam networking so even if he did add the windows version to this it wouldn't work because the game uses steam networking
